INTRODUCTION

Answer K.K., initiated by Hironori (Hiro) Matsushima and participating friends, was organized as an incubation company to develop ventures with people who have innovative ideas.

The initial purpose of the company was not for profit but to maximize each participant’s self-esteem. If one participant has a business idea that he/she wishes to enterprise, other participants cooperate and support so that the main participant can drive that particular business.

After fulfilling its initial purpose, Answer K.K currently consults multi-national companies to localize products in Japan. It also consults listed Japanese companies on Investor relations. Answer K.K. also holds a real estate brokerage license in Japan and consults real estate investment activities.

HIRONORI MATSUSHIMA

Hiro a bilingual Japanese entrepreneur started his business career as an investment banker with Daiwa Securities. For 15 years he worked in fields such as Sales, Marketing, Advertisement, Compliance and Corporate Planning. He has also worked for Heinz Japan as an Operating Officer in charge of Human Resources, and Information Service.

In 1999, when the Internet boom started he formed a venture “StockWeather.Com Inc.”. StockWeather provided graphical stock information through the Internet and telephone stock quote answering system using voice recognition technology with NTT-ME. The Internet site is one of the largest independent stock information portal in Japan and the telephone stock quote system provided for stockbrokers oligopolies this market. In 2005, Hiro and his friends sold off the company to his partner and restarted to concentrate in Answer K.K. to challenge yet another venture.

Hiro holds a BA in Economics from Gakushuin University and MBA from the University of Chicago.
